Owner, Photographer, Creator
I got into the world of photography around my freshman year of high school. I would ask my mom to borrow her Canon point and shoot 35mm film camera every chance I had a reason to use it and luckily she let me (thanks mom). What did I liked about taking photos then? I have to say that I really enjoyed taking photos of my friends, of bands at concerts I went to and at all the high school functions. I learned growing up by looking at family photo albums that capturing memories was important to do. It also turned out to be fun.
So after some time away from home, two college degrees and many amazing stories later, I found myself with a DSLR camera in my hands for the very first time. I quickly fell in love with everything about it. How fast it took photos, the way people seemed to pop out of the image and most of all, the crystal clear quality of the images that I could see on the back of the camera. I was instantly hooked!
It didn’t take much time but requests from friends and family starting coming in and my hobby quickly turned into a business. I didn’t know where it would take me or how many people I’d meet but now after 7 years and many clients later, I am still going strong as a photographer and continue to only get better at my craft.
Aside from being the creative genius behind the camera and the face of the business, my other focuses in life are my family, my wonderful partner in crime Amanda, her son Ethan and trying to experience and explore much of what the world has to offer.
